POLYTERMACON® AI magnet wire is manufactured with a Polyester-imide resin base and a polyamide-imide (AI) overcoat. This magnet wire combines the excellent dielectric and thermal characteristics of the Polyester-imide resin and the benefits offered by the chemical structure of polyamide-imide.
Polyester-imide protects against overloads and crossovers and provides excellent resistance to chemical agents. At the same time, Polyamide-imide offers a tough, smooth surface with a low coefficient of friction, making the POLYTERMACON® AI wire highly resistant to damage caused by high-speed winders and an excellent option for motor winding.
